B.A. in English Education (6-12) magna cum laude from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. My degree was awarded in December of 2017. Along with my degree, I earned certification from the state of Idaho to teach English Language Arts (and all included variations) to 6th - 12th-grade students. I believe that education should be structured around individual student needs and should cater towards their strengths and learning style. Students should feel supported and empowered within their learning. I employ differentiation strategies within my tutoring to ensure that all students are getting equitable access to content.

I have experience in teaching 8th-grade general and honors English, as well as 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade remedial reading and writing and ELL support in the public school system. During my high school and college careers, I taught and provided ELL support for refugee students of varying ages and proficiency levels for local rescue organizations.
