I have 7 years of tutoring experience and associated training. I began tutoring in high school and continued through college as a Learning Assistant (LA) for English Composition and Writing courses, working closely with faculty to support ESL (along with English speaking) students in mastering writing and reading skills. As an LA, I received extensive training how to best relay content while encouraging critical thinking and reflection skills in students.
