Hobbies
I am a people person. We all have so much to offer each other. I love tutoring, because it presents me with the opportunity to learn about other people, cultures, and various needs I might not encounter in other aspects of life. I love coming up with creative strategies to reach students with different learning styles and ability. It keeps me on my toes, and teaches me just as much about the world and beauty of humanity as it does helping them learn content for a course. I love nature and being outside, when time allows for it. Camping and walking the green-belt through our various parks are some of my favorite activities. I am also an avid reader, writer, and artist. I love reading many different types of books, because they all take me on a different trip. Art and writing allow me express my love of nature, or even the feeling of a moment, in such a way that I can revisit it later.
