I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering ( Electronic Concentration) online in Exclesior College, located in Albany, Newyork (junior Standing) with credits transferred from Boise State University and College of Western Idaho. The credits that I transferred from BSU and CWI were mostly the prerequirements classes of the major that I'm pursuing. Which is almost the classes that I listed as my tutoring subjects. With all of these prerequirements I got a GPA of 3.03. I'm pursuing my degree online since I can't get a bachelor degree with the major I want in the only University that offer bachelor degree in Boise. Since also for some reasons I don't want leave Boise to go study in another state and I like online classes more than regular classes.
Experience
I acquired tutoring experience in CWI where I was responsible to provide academic support to students based on their knowledge in given math subject areas. The tutoring service was provided in a computer lab where students were doing their homework. My job was to help them where they get stuck by explaining to them the problem and show them how to solve it without giving them the complete solution. If I was showing them the complete solution it was not going to help them learning the materials. The goal was to help by working a problem with them until they start being able to solve it on their own. The school were I was tutoring was required a students to have earned a least a B in the class in which they wanted to tutor and had passed a higher level class level than the class they wanted to tutor. What motivate me to tutor is that I want to use the knowledge that I got in my previous courses to help students succeeding in their courses by helping them understand and solve some problems on their own. I know that no one can be able to do everything on their own. I'm in the service of other just like some people was in my service when I got stuck. The relevant classes that I have taken is Intermediate algebra, Precalculus, Calculus 1 to 3, Differential equations, and other important physics classes. I haven't taken much French classes but I can tutor it since I'm fluent in speaking, writing, and reading.
